About Compassionate Weight Solutions

Russ Goldstein, MD, DABOM

Russ Goldstein, MD is a dual boarded weight loss physician. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and is board certified through American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Goldstein completed his medical degree at Creighton University and went on to complete a residency in Psychiatry from Creighton University. During his training, Dr. Goldstein recognized that people with overweight and obesity were not treated with high quality and empathetic medical care. This lead Dr. Goldstein to pursue extra training in Obesity Medicine so he could focus on taking care of these patients in the caring and scientific way that they deserve.

This includes a review of your medical history, your medications, labs, and mental health history. Treatment plans can include medications, lifestyle modifications, alterations of your current medications, and mental health care. CWS believes that effective treatment for overweight and obesity is possible through partnership with patients and treating the patient as an individual.
